Who We Are
We are a non-denominational Deaf church that believes in the essential doctrines of the Christian faith. We primarily focus on serving Deaf and hard of hearing people and their families who live in Elk River, Big Lake, Monticello, and surrounding communities.
When God created this world, He planned for it to be something better, but our first parents made the wrong choice. Since then, all of us have made bad choices in our lives and we experience hurt from our bad choices and the bad choices of other people. That is part of the human experience.
God sent Jesus to die on the cross so that He could deal with the mess we made and restore us and His creation to His original plan. God will not force us to follow Him. We must choose to accept or reject His offer. When we accept His offer, He teaches us how we can live a life with better choices and He gives us the power to make better choices. He doesn’t promise a problem-free life, but He promises that He will always be with us to help us through the challenges in our lives. We come to church so that we can learn about Jesus, learn what is important to Him, and encourage one another as we learn how to follow Him.
